It’s fascinating to read this, as it brings back so many memories for me. You see, I was also listening regularly (in Scotland) to Radio Tirana at this time (late 1980s). Do you have any recordings of the broadcasts. I only have a couple, which I would be pleased to share with you if you like. I wrote to them a few times and sent reception reports, so I have a nice collection of Radio Tirana QSL card. Also, my letters were read on the air, and they sent me some stuff such as “New Albania” magazine, a Radio Tirana badge, a copy of the book “Our Enver” by Ramiz Alia and some copies of the newspaper “Zeri i Popullit”. I also entered the contest “What Do You Know About Albania” in 1988 and won the runner-up prize of a cassette of Albanian light music.
